the most-hidden canada-only food my canadian bf has shown me are "hawkins cheezies" which are like if cheetos were fancy and REALLY strongly flavored. you can find it in some groceries and pharmacies (pharmaprix has them in quebec)

honestly I want to make a video someday explaining how parametric EQs work so people can see it's not that complicated and there aren't that many different ways to do it!! never buy an EQ plugin!! I don't care where "real" producers do!!

use the stock effects that came with your daw. the default limiter or compressor or eq or whatever. they're fine. it's less friction to use them and that will make you more productive than using special tools with tons of unknowable "character"
