this is also happening with book subscription boxes. even the big ones that previously prided themselves on being inclusive and diverse are now opting for choosing books that primarily feature cisallohet romance over queer romance
Knew this was coming. Something I've been noticing happening slowly for a while now. It's also happening in conjunction with the aging up of YA and the influx of romantasies that tend to feature cisallohet relationships and dabble in fascism-adjacent storytelling themes.

haven't been to my fave bookstore in a while so when they called me today about some preorders it sounded partially like a wellness check
