it was very funny to see one of my knight covers being accused as being made with AI, considering the symbols on them are taken from scans of a public domain nature symbol book from 130 plus years ago that I had to meticulously spend hours cleaning up since all automatic tools fail miserably

A small but very deep thing that bothers me about generative AI as a shortcut to practice and work and skill is the basic assumption that it’s impossible to take pleasure in a creative pursuit that you aren’t very good at and I assure you that is not the case

A knight is place on top of the composition, rendered in a somewhat surrealist, occasionally abstract way, with softly shaded and pitch black shapes following along the anatomy. He is scarcely dressed, wearing only a helmet and a loin cloth. The helmet is in style of a pigface bascinet, with the visor somewhat resembling a heart shape. The top of the helmet is open, a blast of flatly stylized, orange fire coming out of it. The character has a heart-shaped hole in his chest, which is also spewing fire. He is kneeling in a puddle of murky water, in which we see the reflection of two very flat, stylized torches and window above him. He is extending his arm forwards, reaching for a sword on the ground. On the bottom part of the image are two more flat stylized torches, which we view from above. There is a reflection of a blinding vibrant sun below Lubi's reaching hand.
