Just because it is widely used by the GOP and broader political right does not mean media and pollsters need to use the bigoted framing to be neutral.

Polling on trans issues is difficult to interpret. It becomes even more difficult when pollsters use politically charged terms like 'transgender ideology.'

Plenty of people were skeptical, right from the outset, that Trump had "won the culture". But Ezra Klein and other pundits proclaimed it with unwarranted confidence, despite all the pretty clear arguments against it.
The political dynamics of 2025 were shaped by Democrats and Republicans over-reading Trump's victory in the same way. That turns out to be a problem for a LOT of rich and powerful people who made a very large bet on the theory that MAGA had won the culture war. www.offmessage.net/p/trump-has-...

I love to think about how I'd have been fired and sued for lifting up last month's numbers to nearly 300% of the actual figures and just saying "whoopsie" because the boss was scared of the truth.
Kind of funny when we get these really high jobs reports and then at the end they're like "Uh, turns out the months before this we got it totally wrong and added 3 jobs."
