A peek at GAME FREAK (Yep, *that* Game Freak!) tips 'zine issue 22 from 1985 where the solution to arcade Time Gal is lovingly and painstakingly illustrated and written out scene-by scene. 💜

Just doing a collection based on this journalists motorcycle journey across Europe and in to Afghanistan was so brilliant, and I love how perfectly her look and vibe were translated in to the pieces.

I love the softness of so much of it. But also the sleek, relaxed, sensual aggression of the leather pieces, jumpsuits, cafe racers, etc.

And the scarves are just perfect.

I still often think of the amazing Anne-France Dautheville collection that Claire Waight-Keller did for Chloe in 2016.

Genuine "rent free" in my mind situation.

Just this perfect blend of femme and masc under a paradigm of 70's adventure boho.

In the past few years, a I have honed in on my transition goals, I have had multiple, entirely unconnected people who know me in person describe me as “posh”. At least in terms of my speech and mannerisms.

Would it be pretentious to take a lot of pleasure in this?

edie sketch page. i want to be able to draw her (specifically her eyes and hair) more consistently. i've also slightly changed her hair cut (there's a few months time skip coming up so it makes sense characters are a little different).

Every time I hear a streamer use the r-slur, I'm unable to divorce it from them saying "I support fascism because not slurring people was a line too far."

When the word bounces off my ears, I hear it not as thoughtless derogatory speech, but an ideological announcement.

I can't be the only one.

What gets me is that it is SO esoteric and obscure, both in terms of the occultism/theosophy stuff AND the weird pop culture stuff that I would have no idea how to even begin to explain to people not plugged in to this material how this is nazi propaganda.

It's tempting to treat "the American right is a death cult" as rhetorical hyperbole, but when you look at e.g. their enthusiasm for executing people who are *clearly* innocent, no actually these people really do just worship and revel in death and murder

When prices were going up under Biden there was a constant deluge of news stories about it because the media did not like Biden and wanted him to lose. Under Trump there is not a constant deluge of news stories about coffee prices because they like Trump and want him to win
