☀️ I enjoy drawing cartoons and pretending to be a sock. At least one of these activities has been successful for me.
☀️ I draw during breaks from work, so I don't post that often.

There is something about Delphi that I really like, but words cannot describe it.

The myth of Cephalus and Procris could have taken a different turn if Procris had been able to dodge as deftly as the magic spear thrown at her by her husband hit the target.

The ancient Greek concept of "Mom, I hurt my knee" would be "I was attacked by a wild boar while hunting. I hit it with a spear, but it's a little hard for me to walk now. Can we sail home?"

Day IV - Tripod.
The Twelve Labors is, of course, a classic. But who knows about the case of Heracles stealing the tripod of the Pythia, offended because she refused to give him a prediction on how to atone for his sin? And then Apollo went to take the tripod back?
Yeah, that happened.

Day III - Messenger.
That very moment where there is nothing to quote on the myth about Perseus, because Perseus is the Greek equivalent of "that hero from a fairytale", whom everyone knows, but everyone retells in their own way.

I'm surprised how often Sicily is mentioned in some articles. Like, the island of the Cyclops is part of Sicily because "there's a volcano there". And the island with Helios' cattle is also part of Sicily because "it has three corners"! Or something like that…

I'm currently trying to recreate a map of Odysseus' journey in accordance with the Odyssey. It turned out to be harder than I thought.

Telemachus and his four mythological wives.
Homer left Telemachus’s fate untold, so Greeks and Romans filled the gaps in Post-Homeric Tradition, linking him (and Odysseus) to many possible women.
But which myth feels most true?
