Test drove one and loved how it drove.

Issue we ran into is that they missed the mark a bit on functional family hauling, plus the high price. If you want all wheel drive (rural icy snowy area), you’ve gotta cut down from 7 seats to 6.

I’d love to see them perfect it, but I don’t think they will.

Referendum initiated limited to the rich citizens, how very democratic.

This kinda sounds like an old school Jeff Foxworthy might be a redneck joke.

If you’ve ever been bitten in the ass by an otter…

That looks like a beautiful spot for a run, weather looks great. We’re all snow, ice, and slush here for the winter already, lots of headlamps and base building.

Nice running pictures is good motivation to keep it up through the winter, thanks for sharing it!

No worries, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t getting lumped in that bunch!

When I comment on gun stuff my loose goal is to provide context to help counteract the technobabble, I feel like the gun lobby overly weaponizes firearm literacy.

Ooh I hope you don’t mean me as a member of the gun cult. Knowledge doesn’t equal fandom.

I’m not sure exactly what’s happening with the legislation around prohibiting replica firearms like I suspect this is, but I support it. There’s no real way to visually tell them apart at a distance.

Just an absolute joke of propaganda. Wildly ridiculous. Didn’t they just ask people to stop moving there after they didn’t really think through their Alberta is Calling campaign?

Parts of Finland seem to be a decent comparison, Oulu seems legit snowy.

Guelph is also arguably milder than most of Canada.

Super grainy photo, but I think that’s an airsoft gun. It looks off and his rig looks goofy.

In a group project a year or two ago one of the other undergrads suggest we put work through Snapchat group chat; claimed he couldn’t access WhatsApp.

I never would have thought I would force people to use MS Teams (provided by uni), but I did it, and I do feel shame.

I haven’t seen a Hallmark movie in years, but I check to see if they’re filmed nearby. Google tells me it was filmed in Montreal, where’s it supposed to be set?

*have a screen, durnit, let us edit posts.

I have a family member with a Tesla who’s played around with FSD but doesn’t rely on it, won’t pay for the subscription.

It’s terrifying that these people have adopted it to this level of self-created incompetency.

Also… my 2011 car doesn’t even had a screen.

Fair- I shared a CBC article on point access blocks with my small town dad and I don’t think the term is clear at all to people not following housing. None of it translates.

I think there’s a segment of society that will reject “Euro” and “flat” on the grounds of being too European, sadly.

I like radial because I feel like it reaches out to the car brained.

Radial homes? This helps reinforce that apartments can be homes, which seems to confuse the detached crowd.

That looks fairly new? Looks like a pretty standard sized lot, almost full depth coverage.

Thanks for posting it! More pictures of stuff like this helps spread awareness that these types of things actually get built, and what they look like.

Also just got the intro, it’s interesting!

Maybe expanding the idea to other games and media- the guys I used to play Age of Empires II with in highschool with had a similar obsession with the crusades and Deus Vult, particularly when Kingdom of Heaven also came out. Some ended up far right.

To be fair I don’t think a social media exists that can help you get to the other side of an isle.

Are those good? I see them but I’ve never tried one.
