Multiple NYT pieces today covering this calamity as a routine/normal event. It was not.

I’m sickened by the fact that folks will lose their plans. We fought to protect them in 2018- Everything hinging on John McCain’s 👍🏻 or 👎🏻. Peaceful Civil Disobedience and hundreds of us arrested. Everything has to be fought for over, and over, and over, - and over again.
