Well, they still have to resolve the cold-weather issues but a hybrid is plenty good enough.

Would be great if Canada overtook the USA in % of renewable energy

Oh. Wait. 🇨🇦 already has. 3 times as much. 2 years ago.

What a shithole country the USA is.

It doesn't matter whose poster you follow. The movement will have greater strength if many demos happen over an extended timespan with diverse organisers across several themes. People can be against the failing economy. AND against ICE invasions. AND against blatant corruption.

IMHO: is impossible to ignore 10% of the voting-age public. latest count is roughly 236M voters across approx 347M. It's possible 5% is enough but not from one single event. There will not be change in one single event. There needs to be large-scale events every month, of many different types.

Why not just take part in the nationwide walkout already scheduled for the 20th?

I've always been a fan of Think Global; Act Local. There's no reason to assume "general" means all businesses across the country. I interpret it as a strike across unrelated unions / industries / businesses and a local version is certainly easier to organise. Good reminder about Poland to look up

that's true of those where the brand is shown, but not all of them do it. I do like the ones that look like Barbie-sized conventional microphones, for a laugh, but the Røde ones held in the hand look silly. I've noticed a slight reduction in it lately, thankfully. I hope it goes out of style soon.

Just clip it to your shirt or collar like the sane people do. Part of me thinks they do it so people will call them out for it and that improves their visibility. Like when they mispronounce a word or mention something obviously wrong. like some pseudo neo-trolling
