I've taken that premise as a given since the 90s. Infinite realities exist alongside each other, some vastly different, some subtly.

I think there is room in the universe for a movie about Maul's lower torso walking out of the Theed palace and making its own way in the world. It's SF, be bold!

How do you make the slides if you don't mind me asking?

I had that idea about the wheelchair, but this is a traumatized future where one day a reliable technology just stopped working for seemingly no reason - say what you want about "chair with two wheels" but it'll work when the lights go out again.

With kindness, F you for making me think about Threads. My week was better before I thought about Threads.

DS9 had a Klingon lawyer who considered the courtroom a battlefield and words his weapons.

We've seen Klinon cooks, scientists. secretaries.

Not everyone fights literally, some do the menial jobs that support the warriors and get their own glory that way.

Still not sold on the floaty bits, but the way they allow the ship to split and settle as a building is very well done

Always nice to see an actor looking like they really enjoy their role.

And the Jem'Hadar creed is back!

They might even be descendants of some the Voyager crew brought home 😁

Somewhere someone who worked on TAS is kicking themselves for missing this pitch.

I will bet good money there is a direct correlation between a captain making a mark and a captain being the one from your childhood Trek series. So, Picard, hands down.

Also, no Sisko? He made captain!

Nothing better than snuggling up with a cozy Finnish historical drama about a quiet man living his simple life. Highly recommended, and there's a really good sequel!

The original unlit version doesn't have the later nav light domes so that theory holds water.

I had this exact thought halfway through. It's a very nervous movie and it does not hold your hand. I kept waiting for the prologue to settle the fuck down and nope, that's the energy for the next three hours. Was vastly better on a rewatch with that in mind.
