Where do you stand?

You can want solutions for the unhoused, you can want safer cities, but you can also be dead set against federalizing them and against military occupation.

I stand with DC!

Check out the successful, happy countries with universal healthcare and strong social welfare systems. They prioritize education to improve their nation. Typically, educated people are more likely to accept science and often identify as atheists. Interesting, huh?

So Kilmar Abrego Garcia walks free from federal custody. Funny how the system manages to move quickly when it wants to, but grinds to a halt when it’s about justice.

The bigger story will be when he turns around and sues the Feds for what they put him through.

As a hobby artist who devotes waaay too many hours to an economically-unviable past-time, I have to take my victories where I can. So seeing my drawings in an exhibition and genuinely feeling that they belonged there (quality-wise) was a fantastic experience that I'll treasure for a long time.

I moved to Texas in 1974 and back then, every other bumper sticker was SECEDE.

I left a decade later and have never been back, but I hear many Texans still have them.

At this point, I would encourageTexas to forget about gerrymandering and just go full on secession…

For everyone’s sake.

I’ve seen so many people spreading the misinformation that PBS is shut down or is shutting down.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has been shut down and PBS has been defunded.

HOWEVER!!! PBS still exists. It is more important now than ever that you donate to PBS if you can.

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.
