And the money kept rolling in from every side....

Trump's stubby hands reached out and they reached wide.
trumpcard.gov is live and the million dollar fees are all referred to as “gifts” or “contributions” to an undisclosed party lol

This is the shit that makes me violent. They want my independence. It's not theirs to take.

Newest reason to block for social media for me. Americans who go to Europe and start posting anti American propaganda to sell more cultured.

It's the weirdest pick me attitude (and I'm not particularly patriotic - but I know food deserts exist and our produce isn't inferior)

"Jobs including doctors, nurses and support staff," it says.

They intend to drive up patient wait times to create dissatisfaction with VA, leading veterans to, presumably, call for privatization.

They can't suggest privatization now because veterans love VA. So they intend to turn vets against it.
Exclusive: The Department of Veterans Affairs will abruptly eliminate as many as 35,000 health care positions this month, mostly unfilled jobs.

The cuts come after a massive reorganization effort already resulted in the loss of almost 30,000 employees.
VA plans to abruptly eliminate tens of thousands of health care jobs
Strains on the Veterans Affairs system could grow with the elimination of as many as 35,000 mostly unfilled health care positions, including doctors and nurses.

Total party wipe in Whamageddon. We're on the way back from seeing FNAF2, and it just came on the radio.

That's a first.

(LK was knocked out at school, but the rest of us were still it)

I don't understand people who intentionally don't answer a question right. Video of a woman making tamales. She adds manteca to a pan. Commenter asks what it means. Guy answers "Butter" when it was lard (yes, it's the same word for both) but not telling her it's lard is a disservice.

Movie you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star (Wars or Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animation or Pixar.

I rarely check FB, it's there largely for work stuff. But FB lite is working overtime to get me to open it. "See what you were doing in March 2014".

If I did tap, I can tell you what would happen. It wouldn't open that memory. It would open today's memories, because their products don't work.

I just saw an ad for Journeys and I'm back in 98, remembering that I bought my first pair of Docs from them.

One of my kids just told me about an incredibly flawed long video about how fanfic is desiring fiction. The person seems to think that fanfic started with HP, and think that fiction has always been good. Despite numerous contests that prove that truly bad writing has always existed.

Someone used an email of mine to open a Crunchyroll account. And while they have a ticket option to delete an account that was opened with your email and isn't yours, their support responses all agreed as though I was just deleting my account.

Bizarre.

If you're on Netflix and see the big Teen Wolf promo, please remember that Arden Cho was treated terribly on that show. She was written off after asking the writers why they were dropping scenes of Kira despite setting up her character for more.

Accidentally screwed up the kid's birthday cheesecake. Ronnie and I are saving it to try a bit and see how bad it could be, but I'm instacarting replacement ingredients right now. And we'll serve it tomorrow.

Saw what you will, but if you find a food recipe online with long, meandering personal story... You know they actually made that recipe and you can trust it.

AI will not do that.

Also, if you see a food blog that's run by one person and they post recipes daily, run and don't look back. That's AI.

AIDS decimated the #LGBT community. In the 80s, I stopped counting the number of people I knew who died horrible deaths.

Since 1988, December 1st has been World AIDS Day, when people mourn those who died. Trump has cancelled it. He's trying to erase LGBT people!

Okay. My mil's food prep is done, I've diced all the celery and onion for tomorrow, halved the Brussels sprouts. The bread for the gluten free stuffing is dried out, the gluten free dough for rolls that I bought is thawing.

I'm in a good place for tomorrow.

If I'm sharing inane thoughts here it's because others are already echoing what I feel about the world at large.

And we need some random low stakes things being discussed too.

(I promise the big things are constantly on my mind)

Elsewhere I saw a video of a woman upset that she had refrained from any Wicked spoilers (not even seeing the first movie) so she could watch them back to back. Only to be spoiled by women discussing it on the train next to her.

You have to accept that people talk about things in public spaces.

I fear that younger generations are less creative. Katseye launched a song that has the line "eat zucchini" that's very clearly a euphemism.

And people aren't getting it. "Well it isn't an eggplant" or my favorite take "it's a commentary on how women eat to stay thin"

Uh lol

I understand we live in a world of content, where people have to discuss things or their accounts implode, or something.

But three photos of the LoZ project that were released because someone leaked set video doesn't tell us what it's going to be! Other than filmed in the great outdoors.

Last night's SNL was one of their best episodes in awhile. I got the feeling that Glen Powell as host didn't hesitate on the writer's top pitches, just committed to them. So writers got to flex and he had fun with it all.

The Bob vs Bang brigades sketch was hilarious and he was *all in*

Today in Tiktok, I saw clips from The Roses, and there are so many people going enough that they don't realize it's an adaptation of War of the Roses or know what that was. So a clip was filled with people commenting "divorce now" or "this is a toxic relationship"

Prior to the storm, we had a couple tomcats that realized that Violet and James (a girl, for those new here) sit in a certain window at night and come to visit.

The girls make noises to each other that are very much disapproving and sound like gossip. It's hilarious.

You know what's sexy? Watching my husband show off that the subtitles he generated and are live on an episode are timed right and another company's subtitles on other episodes aren't.

I really need people wanting to grow their sites to know that posting multiple posts a day hurts you if you're using AI to write them.

Write your posts yourself. Write fewer posts, but on a schedule. Google's HCU priorizes unique content. Trust your own writing.

Oh and no AI food pictures.
