I was raised Catholic and strayed away from the faith because of my personal misgivings with the message of the church and the way "Followers of Christ" behave in our society.

As the S&P closed 120 points down today, we remember that the man convicted for falsification of business documents is the one running the country.

I think a lot of people on both sides of the political spectrum forget that "Western" society got a new definition when the US was founded.
The United States was not a Christian nation. It was purposely built to be secular, and the Founding Fathers were all fleeing religious persecution in Britain.
