Mine was more the line of being gifted the watercolor paper blank calendar. But then kiddo always wanting to art if I art...but it ends with just her arting 🤷‍♀️ Maybe when she's in school I'll try again.

I noted in the art of the year recap that all of my art was actually kinda from last year or the year before. Wasn't the most brag about year. I planned to do a mini painting every month on a watercolor calendar and did half of January 🫠

Its a bit sparkling in person from the mineral watercolor but the background is raised acrylic with matte medium and gouache. I started it last year 🤪 I'll show you the bg ideas sometime. I stopped while trying to decide the best one.

One of my new season secondhand flannels showed up yesterday... it was a color combo eye trick it lighting. I'm not mad haha. It's mint and plum purple with mustard in natural light haha It looked cream brown and mustard in the pictures.

Wow, both are nice, but the aged patina of the other one is very cozy! I left a plaid pendlton lap blanket in the miata. It ended up bleached from the window sun and its a wild different color past the rumple fold now.

Two random times now out in the common woods I got a crazy invisible or light rash rash on my chest, neck and cheeks that stung like needles, very intensely, then just Fs off a few hours later like nothing happened. Its my not allergic to anything no posion oak mystery of my boring toddler life lol

Then...now not napping toddler coming out of her playroom asking me what these are while clacking my ink bottles together...

Yup! Mixed with some gouache paint. The mushies have mineral paint with metallic gouache. They sparkle but I didn't capture it ✨

It really would have been! I felt the brush fall, saw it do big feathered sploots of ink all the way down...but reacted like some hybrid of a mystic from dark crystal getting a cut and eeyore
