I'm only about halfway through Chapter 3 so I'm sure there are still plenty of wild units in my future. I saw a spoiler somewhere that says I've got a few more G Gundam units to look forward too for example.

Combattler V is a beast. I use Burning Gundam on literally every level and somehow Combattler V still has a higher score, because when I do use Combattler V he wipes half the map by himself.

That game has some of the most memorable characters in the whole franchise, and I'd argue that the thing that makes Dragon Quest games good is memorable NPCs so it's an achievement to stand out among the other DQ games.
