Anyone who does this should be held legally accountable. Any government official who allowed doing this to be legal in their city/state should be held legally accountable for this. No, you can’t actually just tee-hee falling asleep while driving a fucking car. What is wrong with all of these people

I'm not even in tech and this mirrors my experience being forced to provide input on implementing AI. Also did not seem amused when I mentioned that to do this we would be feeding proprietary info to an LLM/other company and that they could turn around and sell that info.

(this wouldn't be an entirely full picture, because this doesn't include training, this would literally just be the relationship to user inputs and the power or water utilized to generate an output based on those inputs)

(this is assuming he used the API and not the subscription for Claude, which would've essentially made this just the subscription cost of ~$17-$20/mo depending on if a monthly or yearly sub)

I'm guesstimating ~$5-$7? I ran the diff through Claude's tokenizer and got ~$2.38 as the cost but that's imperfect because I bet he had to feed the entire ocaml repo in there.

My take on this is that NVMe is for anything i "need" to be FAST (boot, apps, games, etc.) but everything else just goes on a large spinny drive because there's still more value per gig there. I also might have weird storage needs bc I hoard data (at least compared to the average consumer).

either way this has to suck for like, colossal order and their team because this is basically the publisher yoinking their only real long-term IP/game from them to another dev as a vote of 0 confidence.

This kinda nixed the idea because the other dog had aggression issues that weren't disclosed to us (worth noting he was a family friend's dog and we... had some words about this) and he traumatized our dog.

One thing I recommend is trying to have a play date on neutral ground (e.g. not in your dog's territory like your house/yard, but not in the other dog's territory either) to see how they get along might be a good idea. When I tried to get another dog years ago we made the mistake of NOT doing this.
