Squirrels Survive Winter without hibernating! They bury nuts, seeds & fungi in many spots to find later & build insulated nests (dreys) from twigs, leaves & moss, often sharing them with other squirrels for warmth, they sleep more but don't enter the deep metabolic state of hibernation. #squirrels
