David Eddings and his wife Leigh lived in Carson City, Nevada in their later years and would often come out to Reno, where I was living, to sign books. I have several signed hardcovers.

Honestly, rumors of financial problems was a factor in our not choosing C of I for my son’s school. They were a close second, but we needed to pick a place that was going to still be there in four years and after.

Our apartment doesn’t have a hood vent, just a fan. I HATE it. Everything gets greasy, and I’m constantly cleaning shit that’s been sitting on shelves. If I ever move again, a hood vent is a requirement.
