📚💙 Book 82 of 2025 is Murder on the Red River by Marcie R. Rendón. I love finding a new mystery series I can sink my teeth into. This is a good one. It’s written by an indigenous woman and is set in the 1970s. It’s more procedural than whodunnit, but still great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Make it make sense. We are killing people in fishing boats in the Caribbean because of supposed (but totally unproven) drug trafficking, but we’re pardoning a man who was actually convicted of drug trafficking by a jury. This corrupt kakistocracy can’t even be a little consistent.
