The problem with the so-called "nonviolence" of the Civil Rights Era is that it is misnarrated. The retelling in the "American myth of progress" version of the Civil Rights movement was that it was completely nonviolent.

What’s striking about this clip, not even mentioning the content and substance of the message, is that I can’t remember the last time I saw a contemporary tv political talk show allow a guest to speak uninterrupted for this long

When people say “but socialism’s doesn’t work” ask, how many of the socialist countries he names were invaded, sanctioned, etc by the US to make sure socialism didn’t work?
