My God @zachweinersmith.bsky.social is a genius. I can imagine a better world, where he put his brilliance to use solving big problems and humanity as a whole benefited. But, I would still choose to live in this one where I get to laugh uproariously on the toilet.

AOC: We need to be talking about ICE agents and the cowardly policy of covering their faces — and, in many cases, their identification… The idea that we’re going to allow a paramilitary force to bloom, one that isn’t accountable to the Constitution… we’ve got another thing coming.

Went to Spectrum today to return my cable modem because we've been able to switch to fiber. The TV in the store perfectly encapsulates The Spectrum Experience. So glad to be done with them.

Just started watching the Apple TV series Prime Target and I am incredibly disappointed that the opening scene on a vibrant Middle Eastern street OF COURSE ends with a bomb going off. This kind of absolutely blatant propaganda is sickening.

Oh my goodness, I hope this works. The Culture series is my all-time favorite sci-fi epic by the absolutely brilliant Ian M Banks.

In a completely unexpected and shocking twist, a study suggests that soda beverages in plastic bottles contain significantly fewer microplastics than those in glass and aluminum containers. Highly relevant for someone (me) who drinks 5-6 fizzy per waters day 😅
