As an American who has lived outside the USA for 20 years now, I absolutely cannot believe how everything in America is now gambling. WTF are you people doing?

My most "conservative-pilled" opinion is that we need a modern Temperance-style crusade against gambling, sports betting, crypto, similar devices in video games, etc.

I used to be super libertarian on this stuff, then I worked as a gambling regulator from 2018-2022 *and* the world changed under us.

The only thing differentiating the modern Democratic leadership from the archetypal "white moderate" from MLK Jr.'s Letter from Birmingham Jail is that they've let a couple weak, gutless Black people have power too.
