I like awards when they are led by a group - either a rivalry, or a celebration of a group of people with one being the best. This doesn't pass the sniff test.

I would differentiate between business and sports, tbh. I think there's a difference.

Having a reason to exist in the minds of others/a celebration of the circumstances - such as the Olympics (celebrating amateur sports, the Ashes (signifying a rivalry).

It's the ultimate 'award as bribe'. It's for one man's ego.

I mean, it's a made up award by a corrupt organisation to appease another corrupt organisation. There is no reason, beyond that award / lobbying - for it to exist. It will likely cease to be after his term comes to an end.

I have eaten at Angus once, and Jamie's about three times. Each meal progressively worse. How someone can muck up Italian that badly, i'll never know.

Somehow, we took CLIENTS to the Jamie's Italian in Piccadilly. I mean, i've eaten some questionable food in my life, but this was God awful.
