Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Today, it’s not your vote that determines whether the government brutalizes you or sends officers to your door. It’s your neighbors’ vote.

If you’re ok with this happening to Minnesotans, don’t get comfortable. You won’t be exempt for long.

In the end, a lawless administration comes for everyone.

The other thing is, in 2020, the locus of anger was internal, which is destabilizing. But this time, we ARE UNDER ATTACK. We are INVADED. All my neighbors are friends. All the feds are the enemy. No one wants to turn their rage on local streets or businesses; we are, specifically, protecting them.

They keep increasing the size and aggression of their deployments while targeting smaller and smaller places, because Stephen Miller derives an almost sexual thrill from the idea of masked thugs overrunning an ethnic enclave, but can’t find enough thugs or a neighborhood that’s vulnerable enough
One thing I noticed is that the thugs keep moving to smaller cities.

They started in L.A. and kept pretty tame while hoping the National Guard would do their dirt.

Then tried going into Chicago but got scared.

Now getting stopped by a city with 450k people.

Next stop: rural Maine.

I think one of the political difficulties of the modern era is that there is only one thing to do to a person who would keep food from the mouth of a hungry child.

America is the iPhone of countries. Everyone thinks that what they have is sleek and futuristic, not knowing that all the other Android countries have had that feature for 10+ years and the only reason Americans are seeing green text is because America refuses to cooperate.

Atlanta: stop reverse parking or stop driving a car.

None of you can reverse park in under 12 minutes and you HAVE to stop pretending you have anything important enough going on that you "need to make a quick getaway"

Being "serious about your health" in America means you spend hundreds a month on supplements and chiropractic work, are an avid podcast listener, and don't speak to a single medical professional even once.

It's not "taking away your healthcare" it's "ensuring you die sooner"
It's not "defunding health initiatives" it's "making sure you and your kids are sick all the time"
It's not "taking away social security" it's "making sure you work until you die"

Meet people where they are.

Unironically this is the way.

We have to become evangelicals for public services. We have to instill in our society how amazing it is to live at a time when we can take care of one another, ensure each of us lives a full life, unburdened by the weight of "the free market". We can rescue one another
