Thanks!

Lucky coincidence. I just got done transcribing and processing 2003 and remembered HJR 22.

The Governor controls it and it's a state asset, until federalized. Then the emergency test stuff comes in.

So they could probably drag feet but not refuse federalization is my guess.

They could probably amend title 44 to further not assist/provide assets...

But what is a "civil disturbance"? Is it clearly defined in this usage and do folks have a right to it?

The Governor has been big on 1st amendment protections but would he go this far? 🤷‍♂️

There was also HJR22 From the 23rd #akleg (2003) that was a resolution with this sort of intent geared towards the PATRIOT Act. It passed:

It could already be illegal under state statute.

There's a law on the books to bar state and municipal governments from assisting the federal government in denying Alaskans due process.

Importance of Public Media. Claire Stremple's Public Service Award reporting on the food stamp backlog. He read a good portion of The text on this page:

Stuff from the 70s has some echo, and it's tape > digital, so those artifacts are present.

Stuff in the mid 90s really ramps up in quality.

Modern stuff comes mixed down, and consistent enough to transcribe and chunk on legislative moves.

The #akleg and GavelAlaska A/V staff are legit.

Not saying it hasn't/doesn't happen, but I can't really recall anyone opening this angle on POMV/PFD structure recently.

Like (State pop/ANC prop) dollars are taken from that specific economy.

That's a fun one to explore semantics on!

I think LLM/ImageGen/full singGen feel the most like slopTheft.

But I think ethically trained tiny robots that help you build little widgets kick ass. Hell, there's probably enough python packages to vibe code a synth and DAW with Stable Audio baked in. That's super cool to me.

They're all good! I admittedly haven't seen enough of the pre 1955 stuff yet. There's a handful on HBO I might give a watch of tonight.

I've literally got an outstanding ask in where I use **my own voice** to TTS procedurals.

it's basically if Wes Anderson and the boss gave me free reign for 250 hours.

Like, is that *really on me* that I ended in a weird govt fight?

This all comes from CBJai.

A series of stacks I wrote *for* CBJ electeds to have access to the corpus privately for compliant work.

It got zero bites. Now it will be a noncompliance engine. Si Vous Plait.

I'm requesting 16 years of audio (2010-2025) on Monday.

That's two terabytes, it should cost $0.00 to any person in Alaska, per statute.

CBJ is really the ones at bat. I have one outstanding record request and one OMA vio I'd like to explore.

Also: Fuck akleg.gov IT for:

• broad usage of CloudFlare.
• Dropping the ball on HFLR/SFLR public meeting endpoints post 2009.

I love KTOO, but they aint shit. I don't call KTOO when I need a government record. They're also neither APRA specified, or exempt?
