My first full volume 3dprint on my new Prusa Core one L (thank you prusa for the machine)
I printed a custom head scaled to my 3d scan and slightly angled, so i can easily work on the face of masks without twisting it around.
Printed in PETG in 12 hours. Really good quality!

3dprinted mold example using that scales STL (add cube, rightclick add negative part> load... scales.stl).
Print it in extra fine quality, spray it with ease release and then put in flexible urethane foam, pt-flex, silicone etc etc, can put powermesh on top) and you got scales mold for experiments!

This is 3dprinted foam tpu scales on powermesh, then creature cast rubber was brushed over it. I like it, but for a body (was idea for my dragonkin) each panel needs unique 3d sculpt to fit the printbed

Creature cast i find is nice and very latex like but it has some drawbacks notably it shrinks more, and tears more easily than latex. I use pt flex 20 for things like tongues, but its too soft and fragile for thin skin. This is pt flex 20 layer brushed over a master with power mesh then peeled off

Also have a look at what kaizen3d does for fabric 3dprinting. I got some scale gloves on my todo list but i want the scales to look more unique and 3d texture, not repetitive pattern of the same scale

I got a 5v old adafruit trinket bcs its smaller so it can fit in my sword but it runs out of ram and cant address more than 70 or so pixels 🫠

I use puffy paint to make lip gums and eyelids and more skin textures now.
Works really well, durable, and stays flexible.

Finished the tiefling tail! I ended up patching the first attempt i made bcs the second try was a fail 😔 made with creature cast rubber in a 3dprinted mold and foam inside, then airbrushed and bit of shading with a regular brush #cosplay

3dprinted shaft into a chiffon fabric feather test (Pause print halfway, add fabric, continue printing).
If you have a 3dprinter laser combo you could maybe do this in one single pass (i handcut the feather shape and burned the edges here)

one thing pmo about bambu printers just let me set the percentage exactly lol. 80 to 120% range is usually most beneficial

Lots of evolution in this construction! Dual petg and LW-PLA 3dprint for strength and weight in the perfect balance which worked really nicely. New systems for ears and eyes too and minor updates in other areas, such as a jaw stop to avoid scratching paint on the teeth.
