I'm working my way through season 2 of Poker face, a fun show. John God Damn Sayles guest stars in ep 4 (the alligator ep, of course!). How did this place not light up when it aired back in May?! It was great to see him in something again.

I can't be the only one who thinks this film is somewhat inspired by the cinema of Jean Rollin? The blood drinking, the many beach scenes, the dream like quality of the plot, mysterious women with amnesia and vampires! An Al Pereria like detective (whoops, different universe!).
