Really exciting to meet the CEO of Valarian Max Buchan. They focus on AI containment for high-stakes and high regulation sectors and have contracts with UK and US governments. It’s really cool to see what is developing in this space.

This week I signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment – honouring the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust and paid tribute to the millions of Eastern Europeans, Romani, LGBT, disabled people were murdered in the Holocaust.

It was really lovely to meet Chloe and Peggy-Sue Ford from the Swindon Branch of Wilts & Berks Canal Trust.

Today is Blue Monday, the statistically most depressing day of the year and to help my mental health as well as raise awareness for the 4.5 years difference in life expectancy between men and women I ran 4.5k with 45lbs on my back.

Today I took part in the weekly Page-Turning Ceremony. This is a new meaningful tradition of remembrance that began in May 2025. Each week, a name is read from the Books of Remembrance commemorating and honouring Members, sons, daughters and servants of the House of Commons.
