THING THE SECOND: There's a Real Stink on Early Access These Days

Obviously if you’re an intensely known quantity (Larian + BG3) then sure, you’ll be fine. But we’ve seen comment after comment about GenExile basically to the effect of, “seems neat but I don’t buy anything in Early Access anymore.”

My advice would be to pick one that matches closest to what you are doing and copy it as faithfully as possible.
Then, if you run into unique cases for your game, you will hopefully remember if one of the others handled it better.
But often game-feel is holistic and can't be assembled from parts.

I have gotten a lot of grief at a few companies now for -
1) just only ever linking to a google doc no matter what other software everyone else is using.
2) asking whose job it is to organize all the information we are producing and then not liking the answer so that search isn't our only hope

If anything, the writers wrote too well. Punctuation where it is meant to be, capital letters arrayed properly, and sentences whole and intact rather than fragmented throughout.
