Clearly, the time in the house is just meant for grandstanding & soundbites for the Cons, but Canadians want to see real work done there.

45 loves taxing his own people, so repealing tarrifs is unlikely. Any deal he makes won't be worth the paper it's written on.

This. The fact that many are entrenched in their voting habits means that even as the CPC veers off the far-right Reform cliff, they will continue to vote blue. It's time for moderate conservatives to stop being complicit and bring back a federal progressive conservative party.

It is important to stand up to violence of any kind.

It is deeply harmful to give a standing ovation for a hateful, bigoted, racist, misogynistic, rage mongerer that incited violence against many marginalized groups.

They aren't trying to protect free speech. At least, not for everyone.

Someone needs to tell PP to read past the job title of "Leader of the Official Opposition" to the actual job description. It is not the LOO's job to oppose everything. Holding the gov't to account is important, but you don't do that by complaining about everything (or relentlessly lying).
