superficially I fit the demographic so I've met a lot of these guys ( they quickly discern I am not them tho'), so many of them have a little dog who is their only real companion, they see your posts of Lucy and and since they never actually listen to a woman they think you're sympatico I guess

so they're going from zero tolerance down to "discretionary tolerance" which always leads to arbitrary discipline and abuse of the spirit of the regulation

More info: a comparison of the 2023 and 2025 policies removes these examples as "prohibited" and discusses more generally "potentially divisive" symbols. So the WaPo article is factual, but they may still be prohibited by other regs.
