Honestly, despite taking so much time off, my vacation has been so shitty. I don't have anything to really say.

Sha-Ming does care deeply, and he's smart in that way that makes him good for surviving the situation he's in rather than necessarily saving others or protecting them. I think that's why his story scenes are so good because his skills are survival-based but his story focuses on wanting to save.

Setsu because why would someone expect the person who saved him would actually kill him the next day? But since affection values are shuffled every loop, there are probably loops where they find each other more or less tolerable and their words and actions aren't the same each time.

It's too bad about those conflicting personalities. At least Sha-Ming knows when to back down. Looking at their expressions when Sha-Ming is first introduced, when Setsu becomes visibly angry, Sha-Ming starts behaving pretty quickly. I guess from Sha-Ming's perspective, there's no harm in needling

Even their builds and behavior as Gnosia are so different. Setsu gets aggressive, fake claims, and draws attention to themself, while Sha-Ming perpetually lays low (though not like Gina) and pretty much never fake claims. If they did work together, it would probably benefit them both...

event says a lot about Setsu's declining mental state, combined with their Gnosia victory lines (as ally and as enemy) and the hangar event. When Setsu truly can't escape being Gnosia, it feels almost like a hard bad end for them, but they still don't consider dying themself. (Just rambling atp💦)

I didn't even know it was more than one movie! I'll definitely give it a look sometime! ✨

But yeah, I feel like Setsu's ability to kill and just continue as though things are normal is really unsettling, even to (especially to?) Setsu themself. I feel like it being its own note and a repeatable

I started drawing this so I could have a photocard to put into this photocard holder I bought... it says "anata to isshou ni" and it made me think of Setsu's "kimi to..." and I had to do it...

I love Gnosia!Setsu sm... their internal struggle over their desire to eliminate humans compounded by their newfound willingness to just commit murder... You can escape the infection but you can't escape the effect it's had on your mind, huh...

I don't think Sha-Ming would get himself killed so much if he had any idea that he, too, would offend the wrong person and be put to death for it. When the two of them have to work together, he would really have an up close look at Setsu's scary side. It's good tension!

Man, now I'm curious about Aliens. But so true! Sha-Ming is so focused on his survival, and he is a person who genuinely cares about the ones important to him... I also feel like, with the two of them as Gnosia allies, Sha-Ming ends up seeing Setsu in a new light - in a sort of bad way.

Exactly!! Like, "What should I do now?" Even if he tries to run away, there's nowhere to go, and there's no cure. And when he's like this, he really will be alone or risk spreading the disease...

I haven't had much brain power for making stories lately, but I like making stories. I used all my energy writing unhinged shit 😭😭 well unhinged stuff is faster and easier to write than actual character exploration, and arguably just as satisfying, but! I wanna poke at them without that a little...

Current daydream is Gnosia allies in a universe where time doesn't loop, leaving the two of them as the last survivors. This kind of thing, with Setsu saying how they fear wandering the universe alone as Gnosia, maybe Sha-Ming won't get tossed into the abyss of space.

No energy for actual meta, just shove them in a jar and shake it to combine thoroughly.
