I'd stop focusing on how much money popular left candidates get and more on how little it actually costs to do mutual aid.

again, a campaign doesn't need terribly much extra money to do mutual aid. it's MUTUAL aid, not campaign-funded aid.

sorry, reverse that. probably collected them at an event they were hosting anyway and then took 20 minutes afterwards to deliver them to the charity who asked for them. that's not expensive or difficult.

I also want to point out that it does not cost a campaign terribly to act as a hub for mutual aid. The important part of that phrase is the "mutual" part, as those tampons were not purchased by the campaign, but redistributed donations at a campaign event they would have hosted anyway.
