I can't stop thinking about the cognative dissonance that is required to simultaneously think that Grok can apologize for generating CSAM and also doesn't have any real agency in whether or not it generates CSAM. These things can't both be true.

Mamdani's been mayor for half an hour and busses aren't already fast and free? What a lazy slouch. I am very smart.
the wall street journal posted this literally 22 minutes into 2026 lmao. the ruling class is so desperate for this man to fail and for all his ideals to be beaten down into the dirt
As Zohran Mamdani became the mayor of New York City at a small ceremony shortly after midnight Thursday, the clock started ticking on his pledges to make the city more affordable.

Any presidential candidate who wants my vote is going to have to promise not only to remove all evidence of Trump's admin, but also re-instate/create/fund the department of Education, make promises to start undoing the harm DOGE did, re-fund science, they'll have to put forward a better HHS head etc

a lot of people derive MUGEN/IKEMEN-GO related humor from watching really absurd characters duke it out but my favorite thing to do will always be putting really forward-thinking modern characters up against Street Fighter 1 Ryu

All politicians should be paid exactly as much as their poorest income-earning constituent. They should be given the same health care and the same living conditions.

Reminder that The Guardian has a financial partnership with openAI so they have a vested interest in trying to paint this shit in a positive light.

You can't trust a single thing they say about it whatsoever

@katmabu.bsky.social could you enlighten us how much it cost your campaign in volunteer time and in campaign funds to collect the tampons for that drive?
None because they don't have the financial and volunteer support they need to run a campaign, let alone mutual aid on top of a campaign! That's the problem!! They don't have the money to run the same resources Kat can!

Obviously, this is amazing BUT the thing I love most, is that it's directly poking fun at the desire/fetish to overanimate overlapping action & smears.

Asking someone of James Baxter's calibre to *intentionally* do this (as well as mess up the spacing on a bounce) is funny in the nerdiest way.
