A lot of Asian households don't drink cold water. We prefer boiled water for health reasons. Many of our traditions are from centuries of survival and struggle, and boiling water is one of them. In these current and chaotic times, I would start boiling water if I didn't before.

Thankfully, it's a majority of what I eat on the daily. Japgokbap and kimchi is a complete meal!
