I am picking up a few hours a week at the YMCA, as a wellness attendant. It's minimum wage, but it will help and I don't mind putting weights back and cleaning equipment. It's lots of walking and lifting weights! Plus I get a free family membership. Bonus! 😁

I want to watch "When Life Gives You Tangerines," but I literally weep when I watch trailers. I'm not sure I can handle it. My tender emotions are why I have seen "Grave of the Fireflies" as well. It looks really, really good, though.

I am thankful that I was raised in a culturally collectivistic home. It only caused problems when I tried living with someone raised in an individualistic midset because I was taken advantage of a lot. However, I wouldn't trade my culture and how I see family and community for anything.

Test results are back, and the growth was benign. No cancer. Get your colonoscopy starting at age 45. I had 2 precancerous growths that would have turned into something worse if left alone. I am glad I was proactive. The process is a pain, but the relief I feel can not compare.

To the men messaging me. I am poor. I take care of my elderly mother. I don't give money to anyone except my family or my local mutual aid group. I am not easily impressed and do not swoon. I am older, know who I am, and am not looking for a WhatsApp account. Know this before you waste your time.

I have an interview for part-time work at The YMCA for a wellness attendant. I don't know what they do, but I am sure I can learn it and do a good job. I am still running my business, but if I work at the Y, then I get a free membership fo4 my grandbaby and can make a little extra to survive. 🤞
