The WNBA has named its All-Defensive teams, and the Liberty’s Breanna Stewart is named to second team. This makes an All-Defensive nod for the sixth straight season (including all three years in New York) and seventh overall in her career. Another stellar defensive season for Stewie. @winsidr.com

Per release, the New York Liberty announced today that head coach Sandy Brondello’s contract will not be renewed for the 2026 season. “We would like to thank Sandy Brondello for her everlasting impact on the New York Liberty,” said Jonathan Kolb, General Manager, New York Liberty.
