Not sure how many people will care to read this but I've decided to do a thread with a mini review for every game I played in 2025! (At least, what I remember playing, because I didn't actually write them down 😅) I spent most of the year on Switch 2. Review scores are out of 10. (With half points)

$80 for Mario Kart World isn't that bad a pill to swallow when I realize I spent over $150 on Mario Kart 8, Deluxe, and the DLC for both lol

I'm not a fan of the Switch 2 game pricing, but I also do feel like it's partly a tariff issue. (Or at least a preventative measure for things getting worse later)
As a massive fan I will still be there for launch, but I'm concerned about being able to afford every game I want in the future.

I'm like 30 hours into Brothership and despite my issues with the early game it just keeps getting better. The story and dialogue have improved drastically and I'm LOVING the plug system in battles. Probably not my #1 in the series but it does a lot of things better than all the others.

I managed to finish the entirety of Cursed to Golf through the NSO game trials, and as frustrating as it could get at times, it's such a smartly designed game and I really enjoyed it. I will say though I don't think it needed to be a roguelike and I don't really intend on going through it again.

Mario Wonder is crazy because the levels are so unique that I end up just enjoying them on their own, completely forgetting about the wonder stuff until that flower pops up and everything goes off the wall
