I've wanted to play this for so many years and it was more than worth the wait. It definitely has some jank that comes with being a GameCube game, but I just adored everything about it.

This game doesn't feel real lol. I like the combat and bosses, and it feels as wonderfully weird as you could possibly want from a Wario game! That said, the controls are way too slippery, the levels feel more tedious than fun, and it's shockingly short.

The one thing that brings this game down is the desert is just not that interesting, and makes the world feel less interconnected. But each area is fantastic, the controls are perfect, the atmosphere is otherworldly. Hell I even like the new characters. And amazingly crisp on S2

A game with an immense amount of love poured into it and you can feel it. I'm a big fan of city trial and actually had a lot of fun with air ride as well. I haven't found myself really going back to it much but I enjoyed what I played quite a lot.

This is exactly my kind of game but I didn't expect to love it as much as I did. It's one of those games that keeps introducing new things but it's at an absolute perfect pace. It actually has a full story and feels like a whole adventure, not just a sim.

I played the remake of the original a few years ago and loved it, this is just even better somehow. It builds off of the original mechanics to make new stages with unique goals, and has that signature weirdness to it you expect from Katamari.

Easily one of the best 2D Metroids, I don't know how it took me this long to get around to it. I'd still put it behind Fusion and Dread personally, but it's basically the ONLY way the story of Metroid 1 should be played.

Putting aside that the visuals still look pretty awful, this was a really fun Pokémon game! I liked the new battle system a lot, and the side quests, characters, and battle zones are great. The wild areas were a bit lackluster and the city is too small.

This was not my first time playing it but it had been decades and I never finished it so...
I didn't quite think it lived up to what I've heard about it over the years, but I liked it. It has some interesting locales and fun gameplay. Bosses were frustrating

This is literally just Picross if it were 3D, and that's perfectly fine because it translates surprisingly well. I wish they made more of these (afaik it only got one sequel)

I was so excited to play this and I left feeling extremely disappointed. It's a visually unique game with cool mechanics (jumping between shadows) but it's so easy to soft-lock yourself constantly and the levels don't even feel satisfying to complete.

This was a replay but I'm including it since it technically did have new content. Star-Crossed World doesn't add a TON, but replaying the game alongside the new levels makes it feel like a more complete package. Also it looks beautiful now in high resolution.

Very short visual novel type game. I like the story here a lot, and the ending does hit hard, but as a game it's a little hard to recommend because it goes by so fast and it's not exactly something that can be replayed...but it's cheap so I don't regret it.

I love games with unique controls and this one hits SO WELL. The problem is there isn't enough substance to keep it going long-term. I'd have loved some additional courts. As is, it's a really fun game, just lacking in content, and it's kinda exhausting to play.

Cute little puzzle game based on finding seats for picky people. I played this on my Switch in handheld mode and it felt really nice to chill with.

Okay this one barely counts but I wanted to sneak it in here because it was just such an interesting experience. It takes elements of other games but creates a gameplay loop unlike anything I've ever seen, and I'm VERY curious to see the final product.

What can I say, this game was utterly magical and will likely go down as one of my all time favorite games. Amazing characters, perfect world design, blew my mind at how far they took the destruction mechanics. And it's drop dead gorgeous too!

MK8 started to bore me after awhile, and while World isn't perfect, it introduces so many new moves and has some really inventive course design. I also just love the whole driving between courses idea. Gorgeous visuals and OST. Easily my favorite MK game.

People love to dog on this one but it does everything it sets out to do really well. As someone who loves tech and seeing the inner workings of things, and as a massive Nintendo fan, I loved all the tech demos and developer commentary here

Maybe I should have given this a bit more time but it honestly felt like a broken directionless mess of a game. The art style is cute but the controls were awkward, it feels like it's trying to be a "cozy game" with Minecraft elements but it didn't work for me.

A Peach game that's actually good! A lot of the levels are a bit too simplistic, but I did love all the animations and costumes Peach has here. It's a well-made and polished game, and I did have fun with it, but may be best for younger audiences

I technically started this a few years ago, but barely played it. I got really into it after playing the N64 game, and it's a surprisingly big improvement! I loved seeing all the different ways of Pokémon life and there are a LOT of areas to explore.

My first time playing this one, and I had a great time! It's a little limited on places to explore, but even with it being an N64 game, there are so many really cute animations that make taking photos both enjoyable and relaxing

Pretty much a faithful combination of the first two RCT games ported to console. I've always been a big fan of RCT (moreso the management and design aspects because I'm not great at making coasters) and it plays wonderfully with a controller
