If that's the case, they unfortunately did a great job. I think he was locked into a contract with Disney to play Kang, but then it was decided to use RDJ instead, and they couldn't just release him without backlash. So they had to burn him.

There had to have been something bigger the public didn't know about because damn, he was legitimately black balled. All future contracts canceled
