A couple years go by and one day you think "this project would be easier with a plane than with a sander..." and...

Now Imma go cut down an oak tree and make a bench. Just gotta figure out what a dovetail is!

But it's not like you're taking up period woodworking any time soon. So every now and then you tinker with it - clean up the blade, fill some cracks, glue some others, oil it, etc. identify the next issue to fix and think "yeah I'll get to that sooner or later."

I work in clinical drug trials/research. I think "We better document that in case the FDA shows up" just became obsolete. How soon until the Tuskegee remake?

I just want every blue state to massively gerrymander the map so that they each have one red megadistrict and every other district is blue - but wait to do it until it's "too late" for the courts to intervene. Fuck Republicans with a corkscrewing duck-dick of a district. Maybe then we can end it.
