I like how rotld is comedic but as the movie goes on you start feeling more and more drained. The situation becomes bleaker and you’re like “oh there’s no getting out of this for these characters is there”

Y'know the real fucky thing is Sonic.EXE himself isn't even original as far as "evil demon sonic" goes. Zodick the Hellhog appeared in an actual game on an actual Sega console as the ruler of Toy Hell and has a bit more going on design wise besides some lanky limbs

I forgot that I didn’t just start off drawing crowds of ghosts overnight I actually added more and more traits to them as I practiced drawing individual characters

The artist in this movie who created the original vampire clay sculpture is such a fun and sad character to me, he learns he’s dying and flings this sculpture forward to outlive him and he dances while painting it and basically this movie is perfect and I’m putting it on my immediate rewatch list
