I had to point out that the video didn't cite any sources (and it came from the dubiously named 'Centrelink News' channel) and that road rules are issued by state, not nationally.

As none of you told me, I'm assuming none of you know that you can turn off the AI answers in Google and trigger it to use web-only search. You'll still get slop at the top because that's just SEO in the Age of Enshittification, but do this to remove the overconfident arsewipe of a first answer.
Open Chrome and put chrome://settings/searchEngines in the search box. A new tab will open, go to Search Engine > Manage Search Engines and Site Search. Click on the Add button by the Site Search update. A new box will open. Fill in the form with the following: Name: AI Free Web Shortcut: @web {google:baseURL}search?q=%s&udm=14 You’ll now see AI Free Web in the list. Click on the three stacked dots on the right side of this new option. Select Make Default. Going forward, if you use the search box to trigger Google, you won’t get any of the Google AI overview results. Technically, these just bypass the main search results and filter out everything as opposed to truly disabling Google AI overviews. The result is about the same, however.

I'm in Port Alberni, on Vancouver Island, and the closest food place to the motel is Granny's Chicken so I walked there for dinner. I got the two-piece with chips and coleslaw and this is what arrived.

Can someone explain to me why, when I said Aimee Lou Wood was NOT in 'Cats' (2019), Real Bird Fake Bird said I was wrong?

I didn't actually know who Aimee Lou Wood was so I looked her up after to see which character she was and IMDB told me she wasn't in 'Cats' ie I was right.

Was clearing up a whole bunch of old postcards last night (I used to do Postcrossing) and found this.
Postcard coloured light green in the background. The text, which dominates the card, reads: TRY TO HAVE AS GOOD A LIFE AS YOU CAN UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES It is decorated with a black patterned border. There are some figures of people doing various things like sitting, a handstand and stretching up but they aren't very prominent.
