What I’m currently doing: sending inquiries and kicking off the (very long) process to get Italian citizenship because visiting the ancestral village felt like coming home

I maaaaay have used Mochi as a reference when determining if it was done or not. Also I realized on our walk that it’s as long as he is from shoulders to tail.
Unfortunately, both Dad and Teresa turned down my offer of challah.

I haven’t done a six-strand braid since before Gramma moved out of her house and into the Robison Home. When I was in 3rd grade. I’ve never done one without her help. The start is a bit loose/sloppy, but the end is pretty neat.
