NATO can not act without the USA. The supreme allied commander of NATO is Amercian. Art 5 is quite clearly up for debate considering the EU is beginning to develop its own nuclear defence because the American nuclear umbrella isn't secure.

So all we have do is have negative interest rates,QE and debt to GDP ratio of over 200% and we can maintain our standard of living . Not sustainable.
