Politics London discussing driverless taxis casually referring to “jaywalking pedestrians”.

Jaywalking is not a thing in UK law.

Transport for London and Government had better not be asleep at the wheel on this.

This Front Page is ‘Sub Judice’, asserting guilt in an active criminal case, and is a CRIME in Scotland

Police Scotland MUST act NOW !

Notable how little UK Govt, and specifically the health secretary, have to say about this. No sense that they can shape public behaviour. Very passive.
UK has lost its official status as a country that has achieved elimination of measles, as vaccination rates have fallen below the 95% required to achieve herd immunity. So sad, and likely due vaccine misinformation. If you haven't already, get your kids vaccinated ASAP. www.bbc.com/news/article...

❌🤯 Russian Roskomnadzor also has completely blocked Facebook and Instagram in Russia.

Their domains have been removed from the DNS system of the National Security and Defense Council, so access to the platform for users within the country has actually been suspended.
❌ It seems that WhatsApp is now completely blocked in Russia - Russians report the disappearance of the messenger domain from the DNS servers of Roskomnadzor.

I am once again, as a resident of the exotic and distant land known as "Scotland", reminding the very many "it's all the media's fault!" reply guys here that we are almost certainly about to enter a third decade of SNP governance up here despite near-universal media scepticism and/or hostility.
Getting really tired of "this is all a media concoction"...

Starmer has the lowest approval rating of any PM in history bar Truss. Senior ministers are openly and unsubtly positioning. His Chief of Staff, Director of Comms and Cab Sec have all resigned on the same day.

I mean come on...

Any time I look to see what the Labour government is up to in the UK it turns out to be things like making posters that Alfonso Cuarón put in the background of the long tracking shot that opens “Children of Men”.

One by one, Europeans mentioned in the Epstein files who still hold political office are beginning to resign or are being forced out of office.

Meanwhile, ruled by an administration almost entirely made up of Epstein associates, the US carries on as if nothing really happened.

Peter Mandelson is telling the truth on one thing: the idea he was bought for a $4k “bursary” or a $75k gift is ridiculous

The real incentive was a post-government payday - one so big he *rejected* a $3–5m-a-year offer

And Epstein enabled that payday

Here’s the evidence. 🧵

Jesus. And it raises another question. How many others in or around government are lured by the prospect of a post-office pay bonanza? How will we ever know unless they're caught up in a politicised US sex scandal?

Alistair Darling and the official Treasury were always aware that investment banks had an inside track to Number 10. But the brazen nature of that inside track is rather breath-taking.
Who leaked this Number 10 discussion to Jeffrey Epstein? And are there consequences for the leaker?

It’s an internal discussion re. getting markets moving in the aftermath of the financial crisis. No doubt of great interest to Epstein and his financial market clients.
