This is purely to stock my freezer and pantry with turkey meat that I can use for soups and enchiladas and such over the next few months, and turkey stock. It's a fun way to do a lot of cooking (which I love) but also stock up when the deals are good. 38 cents a lb!

If the check was sent out, it won't bounce. The USDA can't write new checks right now while shutdown, but their bank accounts are still available to fund checks sent out before the shutdown. That part is all automatic so doesn't get shut down.

I have an orange cat, super cuddly and loves to comfort me. All I thought about today after my sister's cat died was that I wish she had an orange cat like my girl. And then an orange kitten lands on her doorstep. She isn't sure if she wants to keep him but she'll get him cleaned up and checked out.

So frustrating.

It's weird how the last four months has suddenly turned me into a more consistent journaler lol.

I also was really interested in the travelers notebook style of DIY notebooks/planners, but after playing with it, I like it as a commonplace book more than a planner. I just write too large to be able to do my planner that way.

I love that binder! I'm currently using a hobonichi techo, I really like the layout but I do wish it were more customizable like the binder.

I am the same! I like the process of cooking (or making anything) but it wears me out. I bought pre-made frozen schnitzel the other week because I wanted to make katsu curry but knew I didn't have the energy to do everything and it ended up being amazing. It is so hard to rein myself back in, though
