I'm not going to lie
I thought you meant in real life because I am tired and I got very concerned and a lot more awake

My only basis is from my undergrad when I was analysing in translation, this is my first time looking at it in the language but its just so beautiful and really interesting in the way the poetry works
I really do care about and am interested in the OE verse, its just hard to do with little support

No I have no blame for the lecturer at all, it is on the Uni
I worked with the uni closely at an SU position so I do understand even the state the uni is in, but it has fully left students scrambling
I just need to try find something to help with understanding meter but have no clue where to start

Normally I'd get to have a teacher to help me through this

The lecturer left and was the only one at the uni who could do it and they're refusing to provide a substitute so I've been told to learn a language and write my Diss without appropriate support

So I'm specifically doing personal translations of the Exeter book poems (select ones) and the bit I'm honestly finding the hardest is understanding the meter
I have a literature background so I know meter, it's finding it in a language I'm unsure where the stresses go that's throwing me
