It is funny that there is a subsection of US liberal who laments the increasing importance of the Gulf states when one of the cornerstone uniformities of the current and previous three presidencies was inflating the importance of the Gulf states and lodging them at the center of the regional order.
Also ignoring that the inaction on Sudan was inextricably linked to the cooperation on Gaza.
