i hate to be so pessimistic about these things but watching russian conspiracy be accepted as some infallible truth for years has burned my ability to have earnest discussion about it. russia can do no wrong because they're a non-western imperial power with a victim complex. it's exhausting.

"RU genocide in donbas" has been a well known conspiracy for the past decade that still gets accepted as some sort of truth because nobody can accept the thought of ukrainization (decolonizing is cool except for when it involves russia 🙄). i want this to be dismantled but the damage is already done.
