With one smirk from my toddlers, I understand the impulse in that I can’t help but think they are my entire world & worth everything I’ve got & much more but I am also endeavoring to raise children who are cool & therefore don’t see upwards of a billion killed in exchange for their own as Good

Absolutely! A comprehensive look at the Constitution, updated for the 21st century, not the 18th.
Fix the Supreme Court so it's Supreme again.
Our government is being torn down to the studs, so we not only can rebuild it, we'll have to.
That gives us a HUGE job, but an equally huge opportunity.

We need to think seriously about post-MAGA policies: comprehensive reforms to protect our democracy and a major rebuild of the social compact. This can’t be done either with nostalgia for the Obama years or populist slogans; we need a thoughtful policy plan and a campaign built around it.
